CASINO INVESTIGATION STILL ON HOLD

I (Supernaw) made a request to the Executive Committee (Congresses Committee) that a private investigator be hired to examine both the Bartlesville and Ponca City construction issues (unknown).  This possibly would extend to Tulsa and Sand Springs. (Hominy)

The Executive Committee of the Congress voted to put on the table a proposal to hire an investigator for the Ponca City construction project.  This was done in early December ostensibly because the Osage Gaming Commission had promised to deliver a full report in two weeks.  This has not been delivered yet.  (He has not reconized that this is a business of the Osage and they have their own Board of Directors and a local Commissioner)

A investigating firm had been suggested by our Congressional attorney and he recommended that we begin the investigation as soon as possible.  The Executive Committee decided that three bids should be obtained saying that “ we would be hypocrites if we don’t get bids.” A search for proposals was started.  (Shortly after that an attorney was hired by this committee without getting bids.) Our Congressional attorney suggested that the money for an investigator should come from the appropriation for the audit department. (Now called Office of Performance and Fiscal Review.)  The committee then decided that they should hire a director for the department before hiring an investigator, this will delay the hiring even more.-- My suggestion, so we could start now, is that the investigator could act as the director until a permanent director is hired.  (Supernaw, Shackelford, Branstetter, Revard took it upon themselves to seek entraence to the Confidential Information reserved to the Gaming Commission only and anyone entering this room must have a gaming licenses, which they do not.)

I don’t know if an investigator will ever be hired.  I do know that we have enough evidence  (what evidence, rumors only?) to warrant (interference) a thorough investigation.  I fear that if the Congress does not act soon, a federal agency will come in and pursue this and we will wish that we had done it ourselves.  (Paranioa and scare tactics)

There may be people who like things as they are, but it not the best for our citizens. I am going to keep pushing for this as I feel like it is not only our responsibility, it is our duty. (blah, blah, meddling)

Meanwhile, the Ponca City Casino goes forward with a process that does not include the oversight of an architect.  We could be repeating the same mistakes made at Bartlesville.

I have been told by several people that there will be attempts by some named people to discredit me and to destroy my reputation if I don’t give up.  (Rediculas, He is doing this all by himself)  Looking back over my life it seems like I spent some time doing that to myself-- Where were those people when I needed them?  (perhaps they know better than to cause trouble and do not want to meddle or more important things to do.)
